Gnosis

Commentary

 

Truth is the essence behind each of these cards and as such few words, if any, are adequate to be offered as guidance for their interpretation. Individually they may be likened to the three primary rays reflecting the light of God: the Love of God (Purity), the Mind of God (Intelligence) and the Will of God (Tranquillity). In sacred geometry they illustrate the Fruit of Life and as such embody the entire fabric of existence. They may also be associated with the Crown chakra in eastern spiritual traditions; again this is connected to the Godhead and as such symbolises man’s transcendence of deluded selfhood.

 

The Greek word ‘Gnosis’ refers to knowledge acquired through experience. It is conscious and experiential and directly related to moment by moment existence. All of these explanations are merely words used to describe that which is indescribable. Your guidance, if any, is to surrender your intellectual understanding, contemplate each one and allow the Truth of your own being to awaken from within. Be still, and know that you are God. Namaste…
