Commentary
The figure in this
drawing is at one with her surroundings: so much so that she has become the
landscape itself. She has no desire to be anything other than who she is; for
how can she become that which she is not? All relationships,
including that of the student/guru, offer many benefits but their foundations
lie in the realm of duality; where even devotion to God is polarised if God is
perceived as being something external to the Self. This card offers an
opportunity for you to connect with your inner guru and contemplate polarity in
your life: do you lead? Do you follow? Do you seek? Or do you teach? If there is
a ‘self’ and ‘a-nother’ then your consciousness is polarised. In Unity
Consciousness there maybe one, two or even more ‘selves’ yet there is only one
consciousness.
